The Hack Club Bank integration allows organizations to apply for fiscal sponsorship right from the Payouts tab of the Givebutter Dashboard. When you apply for Bank access, you instantly receive nonprofit status through The Hack Foundation and access to a full suite of financial services for your organization, including:  

→ 501(c)(3) nonprofit status: Become part of Hack Club's legal entity The Hack Foundation and receive the benefits of their tax status

→ Tax filings (990, end-of-year): Hack Club handles all filings with the IRS, so you can focus on your organization, not hiring CPAs
→ Bank account: Access to your own bank account backed by Silicon Valley Bank with a custom, user-friendly dashboard

→  Debit cards: Issue physical and virtual debit cards to all your teammates, backed by Stripe

→ Built-in invoicing Send invoices and accept sponsor payments with low negotiated rates from Stripe

Who qualifies?

One of the best parts about Hack Club Bank is that it’s all the benefits of being a nonprofit without all the headaches of being a nonprofit. Only three requirements need to be met to become fiscally sponsored:

1. Your organization must remain fully committed to being nonprofit and charitable in nature.
2. Your organization must remain nonpolitical (political nonprofits are classified differently by the IRS).
3. Part of your team must be located in the US.
